Being Single Is Not So Bad

-Written by Sweets*

I see people looking for a boyfriend or a girlfriend all the time.
What's up with that?
Do you really need a mate to feel complete?
SERIOUSLY
there is nothing wrong with being single...

Or ask our friend ќεภภєτђʕ•͡ᴥ•ʔ.

and then you'll be like our friend sunny.

You get the idea. :P

Enjoy the single life like our friend Ḿιηηιєᶫᵒᵛᵉ here.
Have fun with your friends and do all those things you like to do
without having a guy/girl get on your way.

I want to know how you would answer this question...

Why am I single?

my answer...
"Too good-looking for everyone"... hair flip :P
Haha, just kidding my beautifuls <3

Send me your answers in a Pico letter. I'll be posting them sometime next week.
Now don't leave me alone on this one. I am really looking forward to seeing what you have to say.

BTW;
I am still getting answers for my question

Thanks Archela Rose, good one <3

The Butterfly

=Written by Sweets*

"Oh how I love to feel those butterflies tickling my tummy"
You know, the ones you feel from the inside when something makes you happy.

Let me tell you a story...

Once upon a shiny day, as I stood at the top of a multi-colored flower-covered hill,
overlooking the fields of fluffy cotton, I suddenly remembered something funny.
I laughed so much that a yellow butterfly flew right into my mouth.
AGH and I swallowed it... GULP!

But don't think the butterfly died. No, no, no!
I could feel her flying inside me for days. Every time she would go to my stomach,
I would feel tickles that would make me so happy. And every time she would fly in my ears
I would hear the most beautiful laughter of children
and all the sounds that our Lord created as the music of nature.
You know, like the wind, the birds, and even the sound of the fallen leaf.

The butterfly continued traveling inside of me for days and days.
And every time she wanted to take a look at the outside, she would travel to my eyes
which caused me to see the beauty in everything.  Traveling inside my hands
would provoke in me the need to give the warmest caress to my loved ones.

The best part was when she reached my heart.
That is when my love increased in gigantic proportions like an abundant fountain of love
to give away to anyone that needed it.

I could tell that this butterfly was happy living inside of me.
And I felt honored that she had chosen me to touch with her beautiful magic.

One day, however, my special butterfly was ready to fly away into the world
in search of another person that would be willing to let her in.
Her work with me was done. She had come inside me to teach me and give me the gift of love.
I was not saddened by her leaving me but I was glad that another person would be blessed
as I was by being touched by her.

Please keep your hearts open to my yellow butterfly <333

~*~

Beauty is that that causes a smile and a warm feeling.

Here are three pictures I had been saving in my files for a while now.
Every time I would see them they reminded me of my yellow butterfly.

You Are Not Alone 💞

- Written by Sweets*

Dear sweets,

I need your help, Have you ever felt so alone , When you're actually not?
Well i feel all the time in real.. And i cant control it. It's so annoying,
I'm almost feeling depressed much in real, I've been depressed in weeks now, i felt so down.
It's about getting friends, feel that I'm different, Not good enough for getting friends..
I mean, this sound stupid, But I'm like never have anyone to hang whit at my spare time,
I've asked people the stupid question ever.. 'How to get friends'.. And I've search everywhere,
But i feel like it never helps. I 'm a guy 14 years old live in Sweden, I'm a rapper,
I'm rapping at my spare time when i feel like it, specially when i feel down,
am i always taking time to rap american's songs that was made by American rappers,
My dream is to be a rapper artist, like eminem. But i know that it's not so interesting for
know things about me, But the problem is, Every time when i find some person that reminds of myself,
I feel like i cant talk whit the person cuz I'm scared about that the person doesn't like to talk me
or something like that you know Sorry for writing huge letters to you, But i can't find any person
i can actually have a serious talk whit. I'm praying every night to god about that i wanna get mates
to hang whit at my spare time ,have fun whit, And do crazy things whit, like best friends does
together.. I've prayed about same thing in 14 days now, Do you think they will come true?
I believe in god and Jesus much, Like a real christen do, By the way, I know that ure not god
that knows the answers and can tell me, But i holding my fingers crossed every time
every night, every day.

My dearest friend,

Yes, many times I have felt very alone even when I am surrounded by many people.
I think the kind of loneliness you are experiencing is the same kind I have.
It is a loneliness that lives inside of us and it can be very harmful if we don't do anything about it.
As many of you know, I suffer from depression, and feeling sad and lonely is part of my life.
However, I do not let this control my life, especially my present and future.

I am sure there is someone out there ready to be your best buddy.
I advise you to go out there and be yourself, be genuine, and be positive.
This is what I do,  I dare myself to step out of my comfort zone (shyness) and venture
where I know there will be a large group of people. I don't actually go looking for friends,
but I put myself in that position. Keeping open to whoever says hi.
And believe me, if no one says hi, I'll make the first move.
Sometimes I do come out with a friend, sometimes I don't. But I don't let this bring me down.

You are very young, your life is just starting.
Knowing that you feel depression worries me very much. Depression is an ugly monster
that, if it's not taken care of, can deprive you of good health and happiness.
Talk to your parents about your feelings. Ask that they help you find a good therapist
to help you through this problem. There is no shame in seeking help from professionals.
I don't see depression as a sign of a disturbed or crazy person. Depression is depression
and it can be treated.  Once you get to talk to someone I bet you will see and feel differently,
in a good and better way.

I see that you are a person of faith. God is always with us and will never and I really mean it,
never abandon us. When you are feeling the loneliest, just look into your heart
and you will see that he is there. Loving you and waiting to listen.
God always answers our prayers. Sometimes it may take a while but don't lose faith.
He hasn't forgotten about you. Also, keep in mind that God knows what is best for us.
He might or may be answering your prayers in the way he thinks is best for you.
We do not always get exactly what we pray for, not because he doesn't want to answer them,
but because he loves us so much that he will answer them in the way he knows
will be more beneficial to us.

Your rapping is a big plus in your life. I see that you enjoy it so much.
This makes me very happy. You have a plan, a dream.
I recommend that you give 110% to your dream. When I feel the saddest or loneliness,
I write. These things help us. They are gifts from God. You'll see that with faith soon,
you will find special friends. And if not soon, it's OK, you still have a long life ahead of you
and many wonderful things are in store for you. Graduating from school, college,
becoming a professional rapper, finding the girl of your dreams, marrying her...etc.
And all these will be happening while you'll be meeting new people which for sure
some will become good friends.

Continue enjoying your rapping, talk to your parents if your depression continues,
attend social gatherings, be genuine, respectful, and positive but most of all,
never lose faith. Pray and talk to God, he is always there for you.

Chins Up

-Written by Sweets*

I believed in fairy tales and happy endings, but then Wooo,
my little heart was shattered, what am I saying? It was pulverized
And then it got me thinking...
Heck yeah!
I still believe in fairy tales and happy endings.
One prince charming that turned out to be just another toad in the pond
is not gonna ruin it for me :P

Now that I have finally found the last piece of my little broken heart,
I am ready to start stitching it back together with threads of love from all my family and friends.

It is possible to keep a smile even when our little hearts are crying.
We shall never lose faith in people but we still need to be careful who we let into our hearts,
especially the people we meet over the Internet.

My dear Picos, I ask that you please be truthful and kind.
Yes, Ameba Pico is a game but keep in mind that behind every Pico is a real person,
with a real heart and real feelings and a bad action will cause real pain.

Anyways,
every new day is a new opportunity to make it better than the one before.
We must believe that we are stronger than what life throws at us.
We were born to be happy and if possible to make those around us happy as well.

The way I see it,
circumstances have slapped me on the face and it may feel like a hopeless time in my life.
But with a little faith and the will to be happy again...
In a month I will probably be laughing at the whole thing :)

KEEP YOUR CHINS UP <333

A Delayed Reply

-Written by Sweets*

Today, as I was checking my mail, I came upon a particular one that really brought tears to my eyes.
It had been waiting to be read for a while hidden under the tons of mail that I still need to read.
It was a desperate call for help that unfortunately, due to the immense number of mail that I get
I had only seen it til today. Immediately I tried to find this Pico but unfortunately, he was nowhere
to be found. My only hope is that he is alright and that he and his family seeks the help
that was so much needed to heal the parent/child relationship.

Once, someone asked me, "Sweets*, why do you take it on yourself to help these kids that write
to you for help, shouldn't they been asking their own parents for help instead of you?"
I was stunned by the question. How can I as a human and as a mother not care to help someone
that is hurting?  Should I ignore their pain, and their problems just because I am not their parent?
I can't and I won't!

Some of the people that seek help and advice from me are mostly kids that sadly might not have
the kind of relationship with their parents where they can sit down, be listened to, and be understood,
and where they can find comfort and encouragement.

It is very important as a parent to give great importance to what is bothering our children
so they can feel comfortable enough to come to us and share what is going on in their lives, good
and bad. No matter how big or small their problems might seem to us parents/grownups,
if it's affecting, hurting and making our child sad, then it should be important to us. Aren't we
parents supposed to protect, guide and love our children? Having them is a privilege, a blessing.
Loving them is caring and listening and not dismissing so easily what they have to say.

I also noticed that many kids try to find comfort in this sort of game. They come here searching
for what is lacking in their real life and that is so sad. However, not only do kids do that,
grownups do it as well. Once I met a young photographer in his mid-20s in Second Life.
And after talking about my photo we started talking for a while and he said to me, "Lori, real life is so painful for me, so hard. I only find peace when I come here. This is my escape. I feel accepted and loved only here. In real life, I am so lonely."

What we need to understand and never forget is, that real life, no matter how hard it might be,
is the life where we are supposed to be living. We can't and shouldn't try to live a "life" here in Pico
or any other virtual world. What we should do is work on healing our real life by seeking help
from professionals or spiritual guidance from our church.

Remember, my beautiful Picos, that once at the end of one of my posts I wrote, "take care of each
other", and I meant it. Treat everyone kindly for you may never know what other people you meet might be going through. Be always willing to listen. For many, it is just what they need. We all need to feel that we matter and that people care. Keep your heart always open to anyone in need.

To the Pico that wrote to me this letter;
I am very sorry I wasn't there when you needed me. My heart goes out to you and I only hope that
you are doing fine. Know that I care and that your feelings matter to me. I know you are a wonderful
kid because despite all the sadness you are going through you still find the strength to help others :)
You are a trooper. I feel that the biggest problem you are encountering is good communication with
your parents. You seek shelter in Pico, avoiding the problem, and as a result of that, they label you with very degrading names that worsen everything. It is like a circle of mistakes that one thing causes another, all reacting to one another in a destructive way. The only way to stop this cycle is by truly
communicating, listening and caring for each other.

If you see this, please get in contact with me. I am truly worried and I would like to hear from you.
You and your family are in my prayers <333

THE LETTER:

Dear Sweets,
I am one of the many fans of your blog. I usually don't turn to others for advice but I really need help
this time. On my own blog, I put posts on how I help others because it makes me happy. I've always
been so busy helping others, I haven't been helping myself.

I have depression issues and have suicidal thoughts and even hurt myself.
My relationship with my parents and I are strained. Just looking at each other has become awkward.
I've become obsessed with Pico and my parents hate it.

They keep saying Pico changed you so much and has ruined your life.
I love Pico so much because it makes me happy. They don't understand that.
It's true that I'd rather be on Pico than be with them but that's only because
Pico is practically my life.

My own mother called me a useless retard' and that hurt a lot. My parents keep asking me why I'm
such a weirdo and why I can't just be normal. I know normality doesn't exist but when your own
parents say that, it really broke my heart.

Please, I hope you get this message. I ask for your help to hopefully
pull me out of my depression and make me happy again so my parents will
stop worrying and yelling at me.

Dear Sweets* 🐱 Toby

-Written by Sweets*

Hi ♠☆™۞NET۞™☆♠!
Anyone can be on my blog.
My blog belongs to all Picos, rich, poor, new, and old ones
as long as they are nice, kind, and respectful :)))

Dear lollita chan <3
I am very sorry for your loss, my heart is with you and your daughter.
It seems to me that the driver didn't care for what happened since it was "just a cat".
But what he/she doesn't realize is that a pet is more than just an animal for us.
They are part of our hearts, part of our family.
He/She should be more careful though, this time it was someone's precious pet that was hit.
Next time could be a person!
I think it is devastating that your daughter saw how it happened.
I can understand how terrible it might have been for her to witness this.
The only thing you can do at this point is to assure her that Toby didn't suffer.
Tell her Toby didn't feel any pain and that now he is playing with my Oreo up in Heaven. <333

Hi Marty ™!
Thank you so much!
It is great to have a blog that people seem to like
and it is all thanks to the wonderful writers that with the amazing work they have
contributed to its success.
But especially, to all my wonderful Picos that take the time every day
to read the blog :)))

Dear Vassilis♕ ,
I try to help anyone that needs my help in Pico and/or real life.
I do what I can and at the end of the day, I pray to God for the strength
to do it again the next day with his grace :)))

Dear яåи∂σм™ραи∂å,
OMG, you are sooo sweet! I am very touched by your letter.
After I read it I went back and checked my SL blog and realized you are right.
I had no idea that lately, I had been sad most of the time.
However, I always manage to smile and, believe me...
I cry, I am a crybaby... LOL. SuPeR LoVe YoU <333

-Keep this letter anonymous named lol-

Question: "Dear Sweets, What's the best way to be happy?"
Sweets*: For me, the best way to be happy is by helping others,
feeling productive, and knowing that I might have touched a life even if it was in a small way.

Question: "What's the best thing you could hold on to just to feel fine?"
Sweets*: Holding on to the love of those beautiful people that are part of my life
and to good memories is what always puts a smile on my heart.

Question: "When you're sad, you want something to smile about.
For you, what would that be? And how?"
Sweets*: When I feel sad what usually makes me smile again is my faith in God.
I talk a lot to our Lord when I find myself feeling down.
I also write, cuddle up with my kids, or listen to music and dance... which always cheers me up.

Dear ☆ѕԏαяℓα☆,
Sweetie, you have nothing to feel bad about.
Talent Show events are very popular in Pico and anyone can make them.
It is not copying at all, just try to be original and perhaps add a little twist to them
by adding your own personal touch :)))

Hola ™ кαт gяєηα∂є,
Going private or un-private in Pico is a right we all have.
We should respect what others choose and not take it personally. Smile :)))

Dear ๑◕ ܫ ◕๑,
I truly believe that it is too early in life for you to find the love of your life, especially in Pico.
If you really love this boy and he loves you back, then your friend will have to accept it.
However, think that most love relationships in Pico don't work out many times.
Are you willing to risk losing a best friend over this boy? Is he really worth it?

Dear ScarIett,
I wrote the Dolly JoAnne poem for some friends of mine
that sadly lost their little daughter ten years ago.
When they told me how much she loved a doll she had named JoAnn,
I immediately felt chills and knew I had to write something for them.

My struggles become lighter every time I am able to help someone
either by just listening to them or with some kind of advice. <3

Dear love_sister,
Please don't feel shy talking to your parents and expressing your feelings to them.
Me, as a mother, I can honestly say that I am always interested in knowing
if something is making one of my kids sad.
A parent's goal is to be close to their child and maybe your parents,
due to their busy lives, haven't realized how you are feeling.
Next time the three of you are together, open up, and don't be afraid to express your concerns
and feelings, your parents love you and I bet it is important to them what you have to say :)))

Dear Sweets* 😋 Many A's

-Written by Sweets*

Dear ur thang myo, yes sweetie we are all beautiful here in Pico and in real life.
In real life, we were created by God, and God only creates beautiful people
and in Pico because it is the land of the beautiful. <333

Hi braden55, when I created my Pico house and saw that it was finished,
I imagined it always full of wonderful visitors like yourself.
I created it with all my love for all of you. :)))

YAY "Ciel Shieru"!!!
I knew you could do it. I am so proud of you <333

Hi Vassilis♕,  thanks... I'll keep trying! <333

Dear ♥мïммï♥ мờяєMC,
If people are not getting along with your bf,
I don't think there is anything you can do
since the problem they are having is with him and not you.
He is the one that has to find a solution to the problem.
The only thing that I see you can do since you love him very much
is to stand by his side but without taking any sides.
Have special separate relationships with both your bf
and the most important person to you in Pico.
Don't let their problems interfere with the special bond you have with both.

Hi ʚϊɞ ʀɪᴛᴀ ʚϊɞ!
I never do and never did, those very annoying scheduled maintenances
always catch me by surprise. I do get a little frustrated every time we have one
but I understand that they are needed
to better improve Ameba Pico :)))

Thanks ♡Rika♡!
The church is my favorite room.
The day I created it I was going through very sad times
since I had lost my Pico best friend and felt the need to create a special place in Pico
to find some peace and comfort. As I was creating it I was thinking that there might be
many other Picos feeling the same way and so I decided it would be a special place for everyone.
My Pico church represents to me, love, kindness, respect, peace, and hope. <333

Dear ☜♡☞αⓩυкα spα¢є,
Thank you so much... SuPeR LoVe YoU too <333

Hi Sмü®ƒєttє,
I am very sorry to hear you got hacked :(((
and if your "friend" is calling you names in school, then I don't think she is your friend.
A real friend wouldn't do something so mean.
Just stay away from her and tell one of your teachers what is going on.
Bullying in school is something that is not allowed. I hope they will put a stop to it.

Dear Sweets*

Written by Sweets*

Awww DAIЯY, not lame at all. Your letter actually tickled my tummy and put a HUGE smile
on my face. Have a wonderful day and SuPeR LoVe YoU sweetheart <333

Dear ♡Yumi~!♡,
Sweetie as long as you keep being kind and don't change the way you treat others when you get your
Ameba Gold you'll be OK. I think your friends might be feeling... left out since you have AG. Keep
being nice to them and soon they'll realize how wrong they are :)

Dear ๖WaLrus -*```' keep wearing your shirt, I myself wear Hello Kitty shirts ALL the time, and not
only that, I even made Hello Kitty barrettes to go with them. You can wear ANYTHING you like, of
course as long as your parents approve of it. Your friend really has a BIG problem but with herself. I
don't think she would like it very much if someone would bully her because of her fashion choices.
Let's wear our HELLO KITTY shirts with pride :)))

Dear ↔ Mitsumi↔,
It would be wonderful to change all these not-so-friendly Picos' minds, but if we can change at least one
every day, it's already a blessing and that is why I never give up. These are not only mean people but
very ignorant as well. We just need to be patient with them and work one of them at a time ;)  The
method we must use to beat this "You are a newbie" nonsense, is with love. Love always beats
everything negative <3

Dear miαα,
If you feel that your stalker problem has become serious, which I presume it has since you are writing to
me, I advise that you Report this to Ameba Pico immediately. But while Ameba takes the proper steps to
remove this stalker, I suggest you ignore him/her the best you can. I know this can be hard but
confronting this kind of person many times doesn't solve anything.
I too have had my share of stalkers so I know how bad it can get.
Just hang in there but be sure to report him/her :)

Dear ☆ѕԏαяℓα☆,
Congratulations on your new The Daily Pico Blog! I read your articles and you are doing a great job. I'll
give you the same advice Catero gave me when I started writing with him in his PicoStyle blog, write
from your heart and do it not to impress others, do it because you enjoy it.
Followers will come with time, I still remember when I reached my first 20 and I couldn't believe
it. I was so happy that I couldn't stop dancing. It might take a while to see your numbers go up... just
don't give up. Writing is for the love of writing, it is not based on numbers ;)

Awww Hayley :DDD,
Don't worry too much. I believe you sweetie, you seemed really worried about this one friend, but
please don't, you say all your other friends do not agree with her so don't worry. You have many other
friends that know you are a good person, and one person's opinion of you shouldn't matter. Keep being a
kind and sweet Pico and keep loving everyone as you have, it'll be OK. <333

WOW A§нŁУη~Ðσмσ, I checked out your My BestFriends [: video, and its great. That is so sweet of
you and you have included me in it... I am so thankful and honored, SuPeR LoVe YoU <333

Hi Sistarly, thank you sweetie, I read your profile and I love it.
You are absolutely and adorably cute <3

Hahaha ☆゚・Gαbriεllα・☆, I absolutely looove it, thanks sweetie. <333

Hi F☆O JEremy, I am so glad you like my home, you are always very welcome to visit at any time.
My doors are always open for all my beautiful Picos. <3

Thanks ☆кιммч☆ѕтαя☆, I like "ROMANTIC", glad you liked it :)

Dear Sweets*

Written by Sweets*

Hello my gorgeous Picos... have I told you that I ABSOLUTELY SUPER LOVE YOU!!!
There is something I want to ask of you and that is to write a letter to God. Open up your heart
and tell him your fears, your sadness, and your joys too. I always enjoy writing special letters to our Lord.
Actually, a year ago Catero created a very special blog for me called "Laura's Letters To God". Don't
bother looking for it, it is private :P

Loooved it my dear lollita chan, thank you so much <333

Pico Perfect

Dedicated to Sweets*, Owner of Pico Perfect Blog!

BTW; Your Pico Happiness blog is great :)))

Dear ❤ⓓⓔⓥⓞⓝⓘⓔ☮♀εïз™,
The only way you can get AmebaGold is by having your parents either buy it for you,
or you complete surveys. However, if they can't, don't be sad, there are a lot of other great items
that can be purchased with gummies or tokens.

ATTENTION Ameba Pico personal, please make it easier for players to be able to get AG items
with gummies or tokens.... most of your players are kids that can't afford to buy AmebaGold. <3

Hi poop myosuski, I think we ALL are pretty Picos... Ameba Pico is the land of the beautiful ;)
I'll try to post something different from my Dear Sweets* articles at least once a week. <3

Dear ♥мïммï♥ мờяєMC,
Maybe your friend feels a little left out in some way. But I do believe you care and love your friend sincerely because you took the time to write this letter seeking help with your friend... this shows genuine concern to me. This is what a real friend does! I hope your friends see this and realize that
she is more important to you than all the AmebaGold you get <333

Awww ¢нσ¢σηυт~❀♡™, loooved your poem, it tickled my bunny tummy,
thank you so much sweetie <333

Dear >.- Huh?BOOOM, yes I think you should apologize to your friend and tell her how much
her friendship means to you. Hopefully, in no time the two of you will be having tons of fun again :)))

Hi JessyROO,
It is so sad to me to see that nice Picos will change once they get AmebaGold, not all but many.
We need to realize that having AG doesn't make us better than the rest. However I've known many
wonderful Picos that no matter how much AG they have, they continue being kind and friendly,
all my love goes to you <333

Hi again >.- Huh?BOOOM,
I honestly don't see anything wrong in spending "some" money on this game or any other as long as it
doesn't get out of control. We are all entitled to have fun and enjoy what we choose as long as we are
not hurting ourselves or others. Many people believe that the money we spend on any game is wasted
money that could be used on other things, but don't we all spend our money on many other things that
make us happy too? If spending a little money here is not hurting anyone and is making us happy,
then I truly don't see the problem.

I am very glad and proud of you for changing your "poor" attitude as you say and becoming a
wonderful Pico. And by all means, it is my honor you have added Pico Perfect Blog to your URL, I
really appreciate it.  <333
