Hi Everyone! It's ten.ten.! Ameba Pico has been gracious enough to present us with releases after releases filled with new and awesome clothing to buy and dress up our Picos with. I don't know about you but I'm very particular with my Pico clothing and sometimes the preview just doesn't do the clothing any justice.

What I find myself doing is holding off on buying pricy items until I see what they look like being accessorized with and worn by other Picos! Even when I do buy an item, I don't always know how to coordinate it. Where might you be able to find such new items being worn almost as soon as they are released? I'm here to tell you.

Well First I hang around in the room where you can buy the item this is to see if anyone is wearing any of them. It's rare but it does happen! If that isn't cutting it, I'll then go to my favorite spots to scout out new clothing buyers.



Off to the Japanese Parks! I'd call this place the most popular spot for new items being worn. Most of the fashionistas go to the Japanese park to show off their newly purchased goods. I call the Japanese park the fashion capital of Pico. You'll find some of the newest, cutest and or weirdest clothing coordinates you'll ever see on the game. The Picos here go big or go home. They don't care if their coordinates are practical or not and that's what I love about this area. You'll see layer after layer of clothing and or wigs!!



The second spot I check for the hottest coordinates is in the Pico High school room. This place was dead to me for the longest time until I found it to be a fashionista hiding spot. You'll usually find a group of Picos not paying attention to the teacher and talking amongst themselves. These Picos might not be the sharpest tools in the shed (compared to the student that got all A's) but just so happen to be the sharpest dressed.



If you still haven't found anything that piqued your interest. Then I suggest Fashion show hopping. Stick around and you might find your dream coordination! Good luck and Happy dressing!

Prom Attire

YAY!!! They brought back last year's Prom Dresses. Now we have different styles to choose from, isn't that wonderful? Luckily for me I was able to use my Mr. Bibo as a model for the Prom suits ;)

Now lets get down to business ;)



This year's new dress style is "Shine Like A Diamond Prom Dress" available in pink, blue and black/with purple for 200 AG.



The black "Bow Waist Tiered Prom Dress" available with a white, pink or purple bow for 200 AG is my favorite style, very simple but elegant.



The "Sexy Prom Dress with Front Slits" available in blue, yellow, purple and red for 200 AG, is the perfect style for the girl that is not afraid to show a little skin ;) This style is definitely sexy and fun!



The white "Frilled Taffeta Prom Dress" that comes with a blue, black, gold, red, purple or green bow for 200 AG, is more for the conservative and yet fun youthful girl.



The "Catch Her Heart Prom Suit" available in purple, blue and pink for 200 AG, is for the guy that is not afraid to "REALLY" add vivid color to his attire.



Now if you still want to add color but more on a conservative way, the "Stole Your Heart Prom Suit" available in  red, white, green or black for 200 AG is a perfect option :)



The "Easygoing Party Suit" available in black or gray for 200 AG has to be my favorite one for my husband. Doesn't he look sooo sexy?!  But to tell you the truth the sexiest thing about my husband is his smile ;)


Finally, "The Cool Prom Tuxedo" available in red, blue, yellow, green, pink and purple for 200 AG, has to be the perfect choice for the guy that wants to match his date's dress color.



There are also three different styles of hair accessories available in a variety of colors, the best thing is some are actually being sold for gummies... YAY!



Corsages, Satin long and short gloves His/Hers are also available in beautiful colors to compliment your Prom attire.



For all wig lovers, you will find a variety of wig styles in navy, white and yellow for both men and women. Unfortunately these wigs are only available with Ameba Gold :(



These three different prom shoe styles are perfect for any occasion and they come in a large range of colors. Luckily for us, they are all available with AG OR a token :)



I gotta say that the "Catch Her Heart Prom Shoes" available in pink, blue and black for our guys are also perfect for us gals.

Heart Rock New Items

The Heart Rock Studs Casquette that Paul is now selling at the Hard Rock Live Room for 130/AG has to be one of the coolest thing you can add to you wardrobe. He also has in his inventory the new
Heart Rock Head Band for 100AG/ 1Token, both in red or pink.

On the other hand, Mike has on his corner the new Heart Metal Microphone for 120AG/ 1 Token and they come in both red or pink and a larger variety of Heart Rock Studio Wall in case you want to change your personal night club. These new walls are available in four different colors; white, red, pink and black. Unfortunately the price for these new walls, in my opinion it's pretty high 220AG each.



However the thing that caught my eye in Mike's Shop was the Dramatic Dance that goes for 150AG. I've noticed that this new action isn't listed as "NEW", I wonder how long its been around and I so carelessly had over looked it.

Now I can not wait to see my dance partner  ۞»Pro«۞frans♂ who never lets me down when I ask him to take me dancing. ;)

Sexism in Pico?

I’ve heard mixed feelings from the recent “Girls only” gacha that opened in France. And I’ve got to say, a lot of the aren’t the greatest. Pico’s pretty obviously favored the women for as long as I’ve been a member. And it’s gotten to the point where even the girls are getting frustrated.
Catero posted earlier about the sheer lack of male wigs that are around. The party wig selection was—put bluntly—pathetic. Boys got one measly hairstyle, one that was already selectable from your settings menu, and put it in a couple funky colors.
Sorry Pico, but I agree with Catero. It just doesn’t cut it. We have a variety of people who come and play, of all varying sexes and genders. And just because females may outweigh males does not mean, by any stretch of the word, that you should entitle the girls to more. It’s simply unfair.

There’s no comparison when you open the shops anywhere around the Pico world. The pink “women’s” symbol above clothes appears so much more frequently than the blue “men’s” symbol. The wig fiasco, in which girls were given access to every single wig, while boys just had a recolored generic ‘do. With this Gacha thrown in the mix, I kind of have to wonder when things will be a bit more equal.
If you ask me though, I think that these gender specific restrictions should be abolished entirely. Clothing never had a gender, and in my opinion it’s only restricting creativity for us to be restricted to clothing, just because it’s not commonly defined to our specific gender.
I mean I’ve seen boy picos who are actually girl picos, just made to look male to get access to the many more clothes that girl picos have.
Shouldn’t we all have the freedom to our fashion? That’s what I always say! 

P.S.  Ameba, upping the price of premium gacha to 100g a spin is absolutely not cool. As if 50 wasn’t steep enough already. I am so not happy about this.

Flea Market Finds

Flea Markets are always a great place to find great items for a good price. That is why you will always see me roaming around the market grounds in search of a good deal.  However my weakness has to be fashion, especially any new released items. I will search high and low to find great additions for my closet. Luckily for me, our friend Mary always has the cutest latest fashions  available at great prices.

I was overly excited when I saw her latest Spring fashion collection that are available. The "Basket With Pretty Flowers", available for 120AG was the first item that caught my eye. It is absolutely adorable and a must have for any girl that likes to add a touch of nature to her wardrobe.



Luckily I had three tokens in my pocket that I had completely forgotten about and was able to get a few great items together with the little AG I had left. Now,  my new Bright Striped Polo/Rd was available for 800 gummies which is great for the none AG users. The Pastel Color Shorts with Frills, which I got in a delicate pink color were available for 80 AG/ 1 Token which I think its a pretty good price for this great looking shorts.  The Wrinkled Denim Jeans which come in three different colors are also a great buy (80 AG/1 Token) they are absolutely a perfect item to wear with any top. The new Spring dresses are available for 100 AG/1 Token and they come in three vivid colors.



You will be delighted to see the large selection of Spring fashion items that Pico has so kindly brought to us. From footwear, hair accessories to gorgeous tops and bottoms, all at a very affordable price.



Now bumping and meeting wonderful Picos is what always turns my day extraordinary. This time I had the pleasure of bumping into .::ツ♥εℓмð♡ツ::. who was very friendly and polite. She was thrilled to see that there were several items available with gummies....Thank you Ameba Pico for this <3



Now let's not forget the new incredible home items that our friend Christian has in store for all the Home Interior Designer or anyone that wants to add special touches to their rooms. This new items can be well incorporated to any design style to make your rooms look amazing. Unfortunately these items are all available in AG except for the round and the square trash cans.

Yesterday I played around with my closet items trying to put together a "good" outfit to wear for the day. The final results brought me a large number of compliment that I have been receiving  in letters/messages and whispers. Many which are to ask me what exactly am I wearing or simply to let me know that I look great.
Even our own Fashion Queen, Peggy Hill honored me yesterday when she said to me, "Sweets*, I am digging your look!".

Pigg wigs

Yes, Ameba Pigg (Pico's older Japanese counterpart) is very similar to Pico ... but rocks it in so many ways. Pigg has an addictive fishing game, public rooms galore, and more fashion, furniture and accessories than you can shake a stick at.

But don't despair, Picos! We're still catching up. Pigg is older, after all. Many of the rooms and products we see in Pico were launched in Pigg first. Pets in New Zealand, Pico Casino, and the Hawaii, Japan and France travel rooms all started in Pigg.

There are many similarities ... yet many differences.

One area that I wish Pico would catch up very soon is wigs.

When I'm spending time gambling my C$ away in the Pigg Casino (always hoping for the jackpot) or hanging out in the many parks in search of props, or enjoying the relaxation of  fishing I often see Piggs with extraordinary hair.

As I was leisurely going about my Pigg life, if I would see someone with an interesting wig, I would take a photo. I'll share them with you.

Since I don't know the names, I'll just give them my own names. ^^

Low side ponytail

There are styles in Pigg that have already crossed over into Pico, like the Gorgeous Side Ponytail with Rose Accessory shown above. The color choices we have in Pico are limited to a dirty blonde, a butter blond and a blueish-black. In Pigg, they've got dark brown and auburn. C'mon Pico, give us more color options.

The Pico management has been holding out on you, yes. There are many other ponytail styles on the other side.

French curls

Though I must admit that I'm not a fan of the 19th century style of powdered wigs with tight French curls, I can see this flamboyant style being a lot of fun and a great novelty costume piece.

From what I have seen, there is definitely more of a selection of wigs for girl Piggs in comparison to boy Piggs. I think we can all testify that this is the same in Pico. The styles that I have seen grace the heads of indie rock band members the world over.

Of course, there are styles that suit female rock divas too ... one's that won't look too out of place after some energetic head bopping. Hmmm ... I wonder how many extension pieces are in there.

Messy top bun

For the most part the hair pieces I see in Pigg are relaxed and casual; styles you might see or have in your every day life - straight, wavy, curly, crimped.

Just as in Pico, many Pigg players jazz up their wigs with hair decorations. There is certainly a big selection of hair accessories in Pigg.

Whatever your style, there's probably a wig in Pigg that suits you. Unfortunately, they cost Ameba Gold (called "ameGold" in Pigg) and don't allow Token use. This is why we need to rally together and petition the Ameba Pigg admins to give us the same stuffs in Pico ... where at least we can fill out surveys with fake info to earn Gold.

Before I close off, here's a short hair rant. Pun intended.

Dear Pico, the unisex Wild & Short Hair Style ^{[1] [2]} that is the only "party wig" for boy Picos is just not cutting it. Yes, pun intended again.

Maybe there are some out there who really like it. Great. Please offer some other styles for those - like me - who think looks a bit too much like a bad (and very conspicuous) toupee.
