A friendly reminder to be aware of scammers

Since ten.ten. came forward with a plea to all those who use Pico to be aware of people trying to con you into giving away your login information, scammer awareness has been at the front of many people's minds.

Don't ever give out the email address and password to someone who promises to give you Ameba Gold in exchange for your information. If you are foolish or naïve enough to fall for this, you will never see your account again. The con artist will take your account, change the account information and take it over.

If something sounds too good to be true ... chances are it is.

The other day I logged in to find someone had sent me a letter with a most generous offer. Can you sense the sarcasm?

My Pico avatar may look like a drooling goofball, but I am definitely not. I know a scam when one slaps me in the face ... and this is definitely one.

Of course, I rolled my eyes and reported this incident right away.

Have you been approached by someone promising to put Ameba Gold into your account? Run away!

1. Don't answer them
2. Block them from your room and/or mute them
3. Report them right away!

The administrators of Ameba Pico are really cracking down on scammers and con artists. They'll never know who is guilty of taking advantage of trusting Pico players (and violating their Terms of Use) unless you tell them when someone tries to do it to you.

Hiro☆彡(from Japan) sits serenely beautiful at Beginner's Plaza with a sparkle in her eyes. By her smile, she gives the impression that she has just witnessed something WONDERFUL, could it be the KINDNESS that Picos give each other everyday?



Carrying her microphone and tambourine,our good friend 窓際のトットちゃん (from Japan) walks in search of someone that may be in need of a song to be cheered up, for her angelic voice will definitely lighten any one's day!



When our friend  .爵.  (from Taiwan) heard that there was going to be a marching band parading through our Pico streets, he immediately ran for his horn so he could join in the fun!
                                         

Our sweet  (PHG) CHAii ♥ (from The United States of America) seems so happy showing off what she got for Christmas. Not only did Santa Claus bring her the Gingerbread Doll she so much wanted, but he also brought her, her  "TWO FRONT TEETH"

 

Poor 北海道のおばちゃん (from Japan), she looks so worry. She keeps thinking that she is sure she forgot to do something before leaving her house. Can you help her remember what it was that she forgot...

1. Could it be she forgot to lock the door?
2. Did she forget to feed her pets?
3. Or, TO PUT ON SOME CLOTHES!

Oracabessa (from Namibia) came prepared today, all dolled up in her beautiful Floral Printed Flared Yukata dress in case she gets to meet someone special. But in case she doesn't, she is wearing her Chromatic Sports Shoes so she can go jogging instead. Very clever;)
                                       

When Lech Chang『助平』(from Republic of Korea)  appeared at the Japanese Park's entrance and spotted that orange juice glass sitting waaay on the other side of the park, he flew to it before anyone beat him to it. To bad he knocked it over when he landed. :(

The Throne

As you all know by now, there are beautiful Bath Room items available now for our rooms. It is wonderful that every Pico can have their own throne for their needs. Since the day Pico made these items available to us, me and my throne have gotten a break from the big line of people wanting to use my facility. It is time to say goodbye to my "SPECIAL CREATION" to make room for a new shiny-pink toilet!



When my good friend  auu.lollipop  from Indonesia visited me saying she needed to use my throne really badly. I had to run to show her the way since she seemed not to be able to hold it any longer. Once she was done, I could hear her cheer with joy...

After the cheer, she came out with a smile, thanked me and left. LOL, I never knew my throne could spark such explosion of joy!

Earlier this afternoon I was in Catero's room working on my next post while he was working on a very special project that he is preparing for our blog.

Acceptance of other people for who they are is a blessing we should all be thankful for. The world is a beautiful place because it is made up of so many kinds of people and each person is VERY special in their own way. That is what makes this world so fascinating and interesting.

However, there are some people that make it hard sometimes by doing or saying things that affect/hurt people around them. Usually, I try not to judge them for their wrong doings, but I still prefer to keep a distance from their negative actions. And when I DO think of them, I try to focus only in the good things about them and not so much in the bad ones.

If you keep an open HEART and MIND and try to look beyond someone's "WRONGS", many times you may discover someone WONDERFUL :)

I am so glad to hear that they "BANNED" the person that was out to hurt my dear Picos. I am very thankful to AmebaPico for protecting us from that kind of scam. But let's keep in mind that AmebaPico cannot do it alone. They need our help in reporting any wrong doing we witness. Catero and I strongly recommend that you all immediately report any kind of misuse of AmebaPico, this includes bullying, foul language, disrespectful behavior and so on. Catero has posted an article of  "How To Report Abuse In Pico".

It is our duty and responsibility as a member of this wonderful Pico World to keep AmebaPico a safe place for all of us.

miniteetha's ROOM


ROOM SIZE 16X16  (Room Found By Catero)

Once again I bring to you another great Christmas Room that Catero found for me this time.

Our good friend miniteetha had the perfect idea by creating a Santa Claus where we can actually sit on his lap to give him our Christmas gift list. I know Christmas is waaay over, but if Santa Claus is still around why not let him know what's on our minds, RIGHT? Who knows, he might still have some gifts left to pass around.

This room was so cleverly created that miniteetha included an elf that continues working towards next Christmas. At the entrance you will find the elf's working table and tools lying around the floor, so please do watch your step when you visit miniteetha's room.


Darso Micallo's ROOM

When I went to visit Darso Micallo to give him a ring, I found myself fascinated by his room. It is simple and yet it is so well put together that once I stepped foot in, I didn't want to leave.

The atmosphere was so peaceful that I actually fell asleep and that's how our friend Darso Micallo found me when he returned.

He patiently waited for me to wake up and after that, he made me feel very welcomed with his very friendly personality.

PIZZA LOVERS, look what I found for you. A room with an amazing gigantic slice of pizza with all the toppings on it.

When I went to visit Sanji サンジ, I couldn't believe what was in front of my eyes. I immediately called Catero to help me finish this delicious slice of pizza, and as we all know Catero, when it comes to good food, he'll be there in a flash!

Our friend Sanji サンジ has a very nice eating area upstairs where I was hoping we could sit down and eat our pizza like civilized people, but Catero refused and suggested we should just go for it right there and then, so I had no choice and ended jumping in with him. :-P

Now believe it or not, after we finished gulping down the pizza, Catero was STILL hungry, so we proceeded to check out Room 2 with hopes of finding perhaps another slice.

We were so pleasantly surprised that in room 2 a gigantic sub sandwiches waiting for us.

Catero lost complete control and just started devouring this delicious sandwich without giving me a chance to take a bite of it. All I could do was stand behind him and watch how that gigantic sub was getting smaller and smaller with every bite he would take. After he was done with it, mayo was all over the floor and I had no choice but to stay behind to clean it up!
